Emphatic لَ (indeed)
لَئِنْ (If) starts with لَ for emphasis — it's like saying "indeed!" or "certainly!".
We add "indeed" or "certainly" to show the emphasis.
Conditional (if/when)
لَئِنْ (If) introduces a condition — "if this happens, then that happens".
We translate it as "if" or "when".
Sahih International
If they are expelled, they will not leave with them, and if they are fought, they will not aid them. And [even] if they should aid them, they will surely turn their backs; then [thereafter] they will not be aided.
