Grammar Rules
Conjunction وَ (and)
وَلَوْ (And if) starts with وَ, the most common Arabic word — it means "and".
We add "and" to connect this to what came before.
Conditional (if/when)
وَلَوْ (And if) introduces a condition — "if this happens, then that happens".
We translate it as "if" or "when".
Sahih International
And if We willed, We could show them to you, and you would know them by their mark; but you will surely know them by the tone of [their] speech. And Allāh knows your deeds.
